Dear Friends,
I used to love to sit with Jerry following an Abraham workshop and read through the notes he had taken. He had some codes he had established through the years that would take him back to the highlights of each seminar. He would write things like, “FIRST” or “NEW” or “GE” (meaning group enjoys) or “GA” (meaning group applause). It was always fun to be aware of the evolution of this work. And it still is. Every single broadcast.
This morning I was feeling some discomfort about someone and something that had happened recently. I was doubting what they had told me was true. Ugh. And then I thought of a phrase that Abraham offers often. “Give them the benefit of the doubt.” I thought to myself, what exactly does that mean? I guess it means, if I am giving them the benefit, I would not doubt them. Instead, I would trust them. That seemed right. And then I realize that when I do that, I tune back into my true self, and I am the one actually receiving the benefit! Abraham offers never-ending insights to enhance our experience. I appreciate that so much!
